Summary:
|
The District provides an array of support to schools in order to improve student achievement and growth in accordance with the accountability process established by the State. One initiative includes a partnership with the University of Virginia's Partnership for Leaders in Education. This program supports improvement efforts at the school level while also enhancing district systems and capacity to effectively support these efforts. The Board of Education will receive an update on how this work is being leveraged for priority schools and then subsequently scaled across the district. A summary of EASI grant utilization will also be included as part of the report.
