The Board of Education is asked to recognize Gernaro Pino, Central High Junior, as the 160lb State Wrestling Champion. In his freshman year, Gernaro was a Regional Champion and State runner-up and a Regional Champion and 3rd place State in his sophomore year.
Manuel "Pocky" Amaro, East High Junior, as the 106lb State Champion and Regional Champion and Deven Lopez, East High Freshman, 126lb State Champion and Regional runner-up. East High School 2nd Place team finish.
