Each year, by December 15th, the Board of Education must certify to the Pueblo Board of County Commissioners, the Mill Levies to generate revenue to be raised from local property taxes to fund the District's local share of total program funding (based on the School Finance Act), the bond redemption payments, and property abatement based on information provided by the County. The Mill Levy calculation is based on the net assessed property valuation, after the effect of the approved tax increment financing (TIF). The gross assessed property valuation decreased by -2.48%. The net assessed valuation, after the reduction for TIF property, decreased by -1.41%. The TIF decreased by -23.06%.

Pursuant to section 39-5-128 (1), C.R.S., as amended, the Board of Education of Pueblo School District No. 60 hereby certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Pueblo County that the School District’s 2023 levy on all taxable property within the County shall be as follows: Mill Levy per HB20-1418: 27.000; HB20-1418 Tax Credit: 0.000; HB20-1418 Net Mill Levy: 27.000; Abatement: 1.051; Bond Redemption Fund: 14.9; Total Mill Levy: 42.951 as presented in the December 13, 2022 Board materials.
