Summary:

The Board of Education is asked to accept the additional funds for the Early Literacy Grants provided by the Colorado Department of Education to implement programs for increasing student literacy skills and available support to strengthen reading instruction. The schools awarded this grant are as follows:
Bessemer Academy - $32,630.00
Beulah Heights Elementary School - $59,000.00
Bradford Elementary School - $74,100.00
Goodnight Elementary School - $31,740.00
Highland Park Elementary School - $59,900.00
Minnequa Elementary School - $60,950.00
The amounts shown reflect the additional monies awarded to date for Year 3 of the 4-year grant.
