The Board of Education is asked to approve the Consulting Agreement between State of Grace, LLC and Pueblo School District No. 60. State of Grace Counseling will provide social/emotional support to students. As a whole, there has been an increase in needs which are having a direct effect on the ability of students to focus on academics. State of Grace will work with schools to provide a therapeutic vs punitive options for students who are having discipline issues. The services will include mentoring, individual and group counseling, family wrap-around services, and individualized counseling plans for students. This partnership will also support restorative justice opportunities as an alternative to out-of-school suspension. |
