Summary:
The Board of Education is asked to proclaim National School Psychology Week (NSPW) November 6-10, 2023. This year's theme is "Let's Grow Together," inspired by the importance of both personal and shared strengths in our growth as individuals and school communities in every season of life. The theme recognizes every aspect of growth, as fundamental to effective learning environments and to school psychologists' role in supporting student well-being and learning.

2023 National School Psychology Week November 6-10, 2023

Whereas, the National Association of School Psychologists has
designated November 6-10, 2023 as National School Psychology
Week to highlight the important work school psychologists and other
educators do to help promote the personal and academic success of
children and youth; and

Whereas, Children’s mental health is directly linked to their learning
and well-being; and

Whereas, School psychologists collaborate on teams with teachers,
counselors, administrators, students and parents/guardians to
prepare all students to succeed; and

Whereas, Pueblo School District No. 60 recognizes the critical role of
school psychologists in promoting students’ academic development
as well as their social, emotional, and physical well-being; and

Therefore, Be it Resolved, that the Pueblo School District No. 60
Board of Education does hereby proclaim November 6-10, 2023 as
National School Psychology Week in District 60 and commends
