The Board of Education proclaims September 17 – 23, 2023 as Campus Security Guard Appreciation Week.
Whereas, Pueblo School District No. 60 recognizes that our Campus Security Guards help ensure the safety of our students and employees during classroom and non-classroom activities; and
WHEREAS, Campus Security Guards help minimize the frequency and/or severity of harmful incidents that have a potential impact on the general well-being of students, school personnel, and/or visitors;
and
WHEREAS, Campus Security Guards use a variety of appropriate measures to keep proper order on campus; and
WHEREAS, Campus Security Guards work proactively in preventing damage to school, staff, and student property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Pueblo School District No. 60 Board of Education hereby declares September 17 – 23, 2023 as Campus Security Guard Appreciation Week. |
